The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of heroes who will split off from the primary party to begin their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 show why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise started the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a secure base in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in House Halovar could assist the team reach places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Audiences can expect discovering which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
